Update

Well summer is officially over... So sad... Oh well I LOVE FALL so I am good with it :) This is an update to the end of our summer...
First we took Kaden and Mersadez to Oktoberfest so they could experience the fun.

Enjoyed the beautiful wasatch mountains.

Then we had Coen's B-day. He is two-fer!!!

Mersadez went to Homecoming. She looked so pretty!!!

Then we took a trip to Grandpa's. We were able to visit with Sharon and her family (minus Ter and his fam). It was so good to see them!! I miss them I hate that Sharon and Clark live so far away :( The mountain is beautiful this time of year I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! :)

Kaden's Game Saturday

Kaden had a GREAT game on Saturday!! He caught an interception!!! It was sooo COOL :) He was really cute when he caught it I think it surprised him. He wasn't sure what to do once he had the ball. He stood there for like 5 seconds and then it click that he needed to run (yes he ran the right way:). I am so sad I didn't have my camera :( They won (this is the second game they have won) so they are 2 and 1. I am having so much fun with Kaden in flag football. Next year will be stressful for me since he will be in tackle but I am so excited!! I can't wait :)

Kaden's Football

Well since we moved to Lehi to late to sign Kaden up for Lehi's tackle football I put him in flag football. I had him all signed up for Eagle Mountain but he can't play there unless we live there. I was really really nervous about my little boy playing tackle football so I think the flag football is GREAT for his first year. The coach on his team is GREAT he lets the kids play all positions even if they are not good at one. Last game Kaden was on the line of scrimmage as well as running back and he was even able to kick the ball. As you can see he is one of the smallest kids on his team.

He has played two games now and Scott coached this last one (today). Kaden was even able to quarterback for two plays. He dropped the ball both times but he was still WAY cute and had a GREAT time.

Oktoberfest

We went to Oktoberfest over the weekend. Scott use to go every year with his dad and we are trying to keep the tradition alive. So many of our traditions are "dying" and it is very SAD. We only had the two girls and they had a lot of fun. We let them get their faces painted and they turned out VERY CUTE! Good music, good food and lots of BEER!!! LOL.

I also have to post this picture of my B-day Ice Cream cake. Scott was so proud of it he took the picture and told me to blog it :). Every year for my B-day I get an ice cream cake because I really don't like regular cake. They are VERY expensive but oh so worth it. I even have 2 slices still in my freezer. I have been having stomach issues so I haven't been able to eat it but I am sure it will be GREAT when I can :).

New Hair

So it has been almost a year since I had my hair done. CRAZY huh!! So finally after weeks of debating the issue I went and had it colored. My natural color, even though I have tried and tried, is ugly. I just don't like it. So, since I promised myself no more bleaching of the hair I had to go dark. She also put in some red highlights to give it some life. It is different but I think I like it. At least I am only partically killing my hair and not totally killing it right... LOL I have also tried to lay off the eyeliner... (I have wore it the same way since I was 11 keep in mind). So, for now, this is the new me.... :) We will see what happens next time I go in to the hair dresser...

Happy B-day MaKia (13)

My baby girl turns 13 tomorrow!! I had MaKia 5 days before I turned 18. She was 7lbs and 17 inches long. We named her MaKia Love after a friend of mine (Pepper Love) that passed away in a car accident when she was 15. MaKia was an awesome baby. She slept through the night, was very happy and hardly ever cried. She loved spending time with her Grandma and Uncle and smiled all the time. I can't believe she is already 13!! She has had a lot of responsibility put on her shoulders and a lot of changes in her life. She is a stronger person because of it and I hope she learns from it all. She is a GREAT baby sitter to her brother, Asa and Coen.

She has a very friendly personality and loves to joke around. She can also be very emotional. She has a very tender heart and she lets things get under her skin. I really hope she grows out of this... :0

MaKia has already experienced so much heartache in her short life and I know she will have a lot more to experience. I hope she can be strong enough to pull though and I hope she can find happiness in her life.

Happy Birthday MaKia!! I Love You Mom
