Summer Begins

Well another Summer is about to begin.... GREAT for the nice weather... Sad for the no plans to keep the kids entertained. The two girls were surprised to get their "surprise" for the last day of school. Scott told them that if they had good grades he would reward them. MaKia "slacked" in that area so she had to do some extra chores around the house to earn hers but Scott finally gave it to her. They received Cricket phones so they can text and talk as much as they want. (Kenna isn't here so I couldn't take her picture). Kenna has already sent me about 30 text messages and she has sent her dad and sisters even more. She is having way to much fun... LOL!!

Kaden was feeling left out with the pictures so I had to take one of him. :)

Kaden received the cutest year book this year with several pictures in it of his class and various activites throughout the year. I never did get a cool yearbook when I was in elementary school... :(.

Mersadez gets to start Drivers Ed and if she passes the test she will have her learner's very shortly... :0. She will be babysitting for her Aunt all summer so that will keep her off the roads some... :)

So the summer is off and running... We have season passes to Lagoon and I am sure we will get our fill of Lagoon this year. We also would like to go river rafting in Jackon Hole WY with my Aunt Kelli in August. Then of couse we have the trailer and I hope we can get out and use it this year so the kids are not just stuck at home being bored.

Memorial Day Weekend

Well I "slacked" on the pictures for Memorial Day weekend... We went to Fairview with Scott's family like we do every year. This year we took the trailer up and it was a BLAST!! You all know how "anti-social" I am so the trailer was really nice for me to have a place to get away to when I wanted to be alone. So the only pictures I have is of the kids playing badmittion (sp).

We also took a trip up Huntington canyon (beautiful) and went to see Grandpa and decorate the graves. It was suppose to be my grandparent 50th wedding anniversary (my Grandma passed in 1996) so we put a special decoration on my Grandma's grave for that.

Even though it was a very wet and cold weekend we had a blast and look forward to next year.

6 Years!!

WOW!! I can't believe it has been 6 years since Scott and I "ran away" to Vegas and got "Hitched". We had been dating for a year prior to getting married and knew each other about 6 months prior to dating... So needless to say we have been together almost 8 years!! Kaden was 1, Kenna was 4 and Kia was 5 when we started dating. Now the two girls are starting Jr. High School!! Scott and I have been through a lot together and it has only brought us closer. He is my best friend and I love him very much. So here is to 6 GREAT years and hopefully many more to come!! Happy Anniversary Babe :)

Then (our wedding day in Vegas)

Remember....

I want to say Happy B-day to my friend Angie. Her B-day is this Sunday and she would have been 32 years old. She passed away around Thanksgiving in 2007 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Angie and I meet in Jr. High school. She had a locker right next to mine. We were not best friends right off but over time we became good friends. Angie and I spent our High School years together since we were the only ones attending. Most of our other friends dropped out. We would go to lunch together everyday in her "adorable" Toyota pick-up that she adored!! She had it spotless all the time and you were not allowed to put your feet on her floor mats if your shoes were really yucky you had to take them off otherwise you had to lift your feet up so you didn't get her mats dirty.

Our group from Jr. High still get together when we can and we all try to stay in touch. Angie had missed the last few get togethers we had before she passed but she was always in our thoughts and still is. I miss her so much. Happy B-day Angie!!

FUN!!

These are in color here but that is ok.... :) We had our "old fashion" pictures taken at Lagoon with my dad. The last time I had pictures with my dad was this same kind just at Country Jam like 5 years or more ago. So it was GREAT to get them done again. We didn't have Mersadez so we didn't do a family one... Maybe next time since we will be going up there a lot this summer.

We were even able to talk my brother into joining us so it made them even better. The last picture Jason wasn't in but his ex-wife was. So that tells you how desperate I was to get it redone... LOL!!

Happy Mother's Day

I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day. Especially my mom. She is the BEST!! I have posted about her before but I love her so much!! I really couldn't raise my kids without her. She is a LIFE-SAVER and the best Grandma and mother anyone could ask for. She is so unselfish and would do anything for anyone. Her kids and grand kids are her life's passion and it shows in everything she does. I hope she had a GREAT day. Love you mom!!

I had a GREAT day for Mother's Day. Last night I was able to go to Dinner with my mom's family (Grandpa and her siblings, minus "Jark"). Then we started out Mother's Day with my present from MaKia, she was the only kid this morning. It was the cutest book she made with little sayings, poems and coupons. Then we went out to Breakfast with my dad and his three sisters. It was GREAT to see them. It made my morning. Then after picking up the two "babies" we spent the afternoon at Lagoon with my dad and my little brother. We closed the day going to dinner with my mom and the "immediate" family. Then we came home and I was able to open my presents from the other two. McKenna bought me a nutcracker and made me a "left-handed" card :) so cute. Then she also gave me a book like MaKia with the sayings. Kaden made him and I a snack to enjoy together with a very cute poem attached to the outside. All in all it was a GREAT day and the weather was AWESOME!!

I also signed up my baby for tackle football today!! OMG!! He is so little I am afraid he will get trampled on!! Everyone tells me it will make him tough but I am soooo scared!!! It should be fun to go to the games I am excited to watch him play just SCARED to DEATH at the same time... :)
