September

September seemed pretty full. The weather has been AWESOME. I remember last year we wore hoodies and froze during football but this year I am dying in shorts and a t-shirt. Very Very warm. It's nice though. I am trying to think of were to start.....For Labor Day weekend we went to Yuba with the Mills/Menlove clan. My brother Jason helped Jay set it all up and it was GREAT. I love hanging out with everyone especially when my brother can join us. We went boating, played in the water (and the mud) and had GREAT food.

We celebrated many B-day's it seemed like. Cake Cake and More Cake. My cake was the best LOL. MaKia celebrated her b-day while camping but we did take her to dinner and they even sang to her.
We had family pics taken with the Gilbert clan and they turned out GREAT (see pics on side panel of Scott and I and the individual ones of the kids) I am glad they are keeping up the picture taking memories. September wasn't the best month for me unless you count getting my tattoo finished :)
I had an appointment with a specialist for my thyroid and he stated the best course of action for me, since I had an allergic reaction to the medication, the other medication makes me sick and I can't do Iodine because my eyes are too irritated, is surgery. I went and talked to the surgeon and I have to keep taking the pills so I don't end up with a thyroid storm and surgery is scheduled for Nov 1. I am a little nervous but it is a basic surgery and I know some people that have had it done so it should be good. The most worry comes from my thyroid being out and the whole weight gain issue....I already feel like I weigh as much as an elephant so that should be fun....NOT!! Kaden's football has been great they lost their first game last weekend to an undefeated PG team. They have 2 games left in the regular season and they have a good chance at the playoffs so that is GREAT. To end September I took a few hours off work and surprised the kids with a trip to the Zoo and the Lehi Mascot Bowl. It was a fun day with just me and the kids, I need to do more of them....
