Week 2 of Re-Vamp

Week two was good. Scott was out of town so I was able to do "fun" cardio workouts rather then Insanity Cardio ;)

Monday - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps (LOTS of pushups!!!) OUCH plus cardio Abs!!
Tuesday - Turbo Fire - SO FUN a cardio I enjoy doing
Wednesday - Zumba Toning - Again so fun
Thursday - Break (good thing because I ran some errands for my Grandpa, then cooked him dinner, then took him to the Sleep Doctor and picked him up the following morning so I only got about 5 hours of sleep)
Friday - Kenpo plus Abs (P90Xabs)
Saturday - Core and Balance
Sunday - Yoga (last week we did a video I bought that wasn't that great so this week I am going to do P90x for sure I feel so much better after that one. The one last week was just kinda there I didn't feel good after it...I will keep looking for a good Yoga video that isn't 90 minutes, if anyone has ideas I am all ears :)

Then the next two weeks (weeks 3-4) will be a repeat of the first two. Then we have a rest week (well kinda rest it's all yoga, core and balance and stretching for 6 days). Then week 6 will begin the longer Insanity cardio workouts....Scared, very scared.....

Work-Out Revamped

So we got back from Florida and decided to revamp our workout. We needed to get serious no more "pretending". So with help from Kenna (who is the only child that is working out with us) we came up with a schedule and even wrote it down!!

We are doing 6 days a week now (only one rest day and let me tell you that day is glorious!!). I have 9 weeks planned (which is 63 days counting my rest days because they are important right). We have incorporated P90X and Insanity together. Insanity is WAY to much insane cardio for me I need some strength training and "switch" from consistent cardio. (I am not a fan of cadio can you tell). So far (we started this program on Monday) we have been GREAT (LOL three days great but still) today is our rest day (middle of the week). I am WAY exhausted my whole body just feels drained, absolutely no energy at all. I am glad it's my rest day because I honestly think I would kill over if we worked out today.

My diet isn't the best but it's better then it was and I do pay more attention to what I eat. Scott is a lot more consciences of what he eats and he actually worries about it more then I do :) He says he feels like he is getting no where but even my "non-observant" Pre-Teen son told him he can tell his ab workouts are working because he use to be way fatter. LOL

So wish us luck for the next 63 days (week 5 is our re-conditioning week to get ready for even more intense "damn" cardio workouts :).

So for those that are curious on what we are doing here is our Week 1 workouts:

Monday - P90X Back and Biceps
Tuesday - Insanity Power and Resistance (and Scott and Kenna did Abs I "pooped" out)
Wednesday - P90X Back and Legs
Thursday - Rest!!!!
Friday - P90X Kenpo and Abs
Saturday - P90X Synergesics (not sure on spelling)
Sunday - Either P90X Yoga or we will buy a different Yoga video but it will be a Yoga day.

As you can see more P90X then Insanity so we switched it up a little for Week 2 and have more insane cardio. Stay tuned :)

Week ??? I don't even know

Well so much for "hard core" on my workouts....We took a trip to Florida (Tampa Bay and Clearwater) to see P!nk and of course Jason. This messed my work out up!! We had good intentions to work out in the hotel but it didn't happen. Then to top it off Jason had us eating dinner at 8 and 9:00 at night!!! SO NOT GOOD FOR YOU. He also has an obsession with Ice Cream so needless to say we had ICE CREAM at 9-10:00 at night. I am afraid to weigh myself Scott said he put on 10 pounds.....I tried to be good I didn't eat a lot and, except for the fish and chips, I ate healthy (fish is healthy right). We also didn't eat lunch just breakfast and dinner...so we tried... LOL.

Florida was great except the weekend on Clearwater was COLD!! and WINDY!!! Have I ever said how much I dislike the wind??? So instead of lounging on the beach (put the world away for a minute, pretend I don't live in it....Only worry is if the water is going to reach my chair kind of weekend) we were inside a lot. We did walk ALOT up and down and spent way to much money in the cute shops but no fun beach surfing...

The best part of Florida (besides Jason :) was P!nk!! She puts on an awesome show, if you ever get a chance to see her do it. She even did "clean" versions of most of her songs. So for the timid at heart you should still go see it. I have to say it was one of the best concerts I have been to. She even sang my favorite song of hers, well favorite at the moment it changes daily because I love all her music, Just give me a reason with the singer on FUN!.

We went to the aquarium in Tampa....Not great for $20 I wish we would have went to the one in Clearwater at least then we could have seen Winter the Dolphin....

P!nk concert!! I tried to get pictures of P!nk but my iPhone didn't like all the lights so none of them turned out... :(
Dinner at Hogan's Beach. I was SOOO sick here that I didn't really get to enjoy the food. I had a serious case of motion sickness most of this trip from the plane and even from the Taxi. Dramine was my best friend.. except it knocked me out when I took it....

Clear water beach - first night there wasn't bad it was a little chilly but nothing like Saturday. The winds were calm Friday as well so we did get one "semi" nice day...

Saturday on Clearwater.. SO WINDY. As you can see below some people enjoyed it they were out wind surfing. It was fun to watch them...

And my hair....Every time I go on vacation my hair is so stubborn. So I gave up and straightened it... Sunday I just put a hat on....
