Well the year wouldn't be complete without a scare at the holidays. It seems every year something bad happens around the holidays. I don't know if this is to test our faith or to remind us how important our friends and family are. Last year one of my good friends was in an accident on Thanksgiving and passed away a few weeks later. We also lost JT, he was only 5 weeks old and passed away after being in an accident a few weeks after Thanksgiving.
So this year my Step-father Frank was hospitalized yesterday. He had to go through surgery to have his appendix removed, minor surgery I know. However, he isn't a very healthy person so he is a very high risk for surgery. Good news is he made it through the Surgery!! He is still on the ventilator and the doctors are trying to wing him off it. He is still sedated and they are watching his oxygen levels and his blood pressure.
Please keep him in your prayers and hopefully he will be able to pull out and go home soon.

Frank better not cause more any havac on the holidays we will beat him up! We will keep him and Kathy in our prayers. Also Makia who we heard is having a tough time. Can't blame her. Frank has always been apart of her life. She doesn't need to lose any security. Give her a hug for me!
